communication这个单词不仅是指通信，还常用来表示传播、交流、沟通等意思。
Communications虽然词典上说是communication的复数，但据我长期做通信方面翻译工作的经验，重要的通讯类杂志都是用的复数形式。
telecommunication和telecommunications和上面差不多，不过加上tele-后就有了长途通信的意思，目前国内都翻成电信，比如中国电信（ChinaTelecom）,不大适合用于贵公司。
因此，如果是通信有限公司建议您还是采用communications为好，虽然不加s未必算不对，但我以为不是很合国外习惯，
所以建议起名XXOpticalCommunicationsCo.,Ltd.
